The Kerala Women’s Commission has come out
against Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) for reinstating actor Dileep, an accused in actress abduction case.
Stating that Dileep was taken back into AMMA after Mohanlal became its president, Commission chairperson M C Josephine said that being a colonel, Mohanlal should be socially responsible.
She said this while responding to the resignation of four actresses Bhavana, Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan and Geethu Mohandas from the body to protest over Dileep?s re-entry.
She also said that actress Manju Warrier, who was the first to talk on a conspiracy behind the actress abduction and attack case, should speak on Dileep?s reinstatement to AMMA.
