Five people were killed and as many as 20 severely injured in a shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper office in Annapolis, Maryland.
Reports say that the shooter has been identified. Capitol Gazette editor Rob Hiaasen was identified as one of those killed in the shooting.
The suspect used a shotgun in the attack. There was no information on motive, said reports quoting law enforcement officials
More than 150 people were in the building when the shootout took place.
Anne Arundel County Acting Chief William Krampf was reported as saying that there were threats over social media to the Capital Gazette. The police is yet confirm the source of the threats.
