Lionel Messi led Argentina has tumbled out of FlFA World Cup with a 4-3 loss to France.
It was teenager Kylian Mbappe Who struck twice inside five second-half minutes to ensure France beat Argentina and became the first team to qualify for the World Cup quarterfinals.
In the first half, Mbappe won a penalty and this was equalised by Angel Di Maria leveling the score with a thunder strike just before the interval. In the second half, Messi set-up a goal for Gabriel Mercado to give Argentina a 2-1 lead. However, Argentina’s defense cracked apart to concede three goals within 11 minutes.
