Around 300 crocodiles killed in Indonesia

As many as 300 crocodiles were killed by a group of people at a breeding farm in West Papua, Indonesia after a man was killed by one of the reptiles.

The victim, 48, was picking grass for animal feed when he was attacked.

After the villagers buried the man, they entered the farm and killed all the crocodiles, farm officials said.

The farm was granted a licence in 2013 to breed protected saltwater and New Guinea crocodiles for preservation and also to harvest some of them.
