Kerala government says two days exclusively could be set apart for women at Sabarimala

Kerala government apprised the High Court to set apart two days exclusively for women aged 10 to 50 years to offer prayers at Sabarimala.

The State made the submission in response to a petition by four women seeking to ensure hassle free pilgrimage.

The court also asked the government of its plans on the women entry issue and the time period required for implementing the same.

In the plea, the women asked the court to instruct the police and government to provide security.

The plea stated that they have moved court for security amidst the deliberate attempts of political parties including BJP and Congress to create conflicts in Sabarimala.
