Kerala High Court directs to remove restrictions


The Kerala high court on Tuesday said that all restrictions imposed at sabarimala should be removed by the police. It said that the police should only look after thye law and order situation.

While noting that no protests should be held at Sabarimala, the court said taht namajapam can continue.

The court also appointed a panel of observers to observe teh activities at Sabarimala during the pilgrimage season. Justice P R Raman, Justice Siri Jagan, and IPS Hema Chandran have been appointed as members of the panel.

During the hearing, the Ag also submitted a plan or arranging security for teh safe darshan at Sabarimala. The court also directed that women, children and disabled persons should be alowed to stay at Nadapandal.
