India’ prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Buenos Aires.
Both the leaders are reported to have discussed strengthening the bilateral ties between the two neighbours.
Modi is reported to have said that the meeting would be important in proving a direction in terms of strengthening the relations. Referring to the two meetings in Qingdao and in Johannesburg earlier, Modi said that these intitives would help in maintaining the momentum.
Modi is also said to have invited Xi for an informal informal summit next year.
